In the depths of winter, it can be it can be hard to stay active and enthusiastic about the season. Luckily, Door County has the action and excitement you need to battle the winter “blahs”!

February is a fun-filled month on the peninsula! This year marks the 29th year for the Fish Creek Winter Festival (Feb. 5th-7th), which is quite fitting for a Leap Year! The festival kicks off Friday the 5th with Ice Caring, shopping, and a screening of Feed the Fish! A full day of music and events is scheduled for Saturday, and the Fruit Loop Run rounds out the weekend on Sunday the 7th.

The Winter Carnival in Bailey’s Harbor shows that the quiet side can be a lot of fun! Featuring Ice Drags and Radar Runs for atvs, snow machines and vehicles, 3rd Annual Door County Pond Hockey Tournament, food, drinks & live music on Kangaroo Lake. Winter Farm Market in Town Hall on Sunday 10am-2pm. Be sure to check out the “Side Show” at the Door County Brewing Co.!
