As the tourism season ends in Door County, many businesses are preparing for the relaxed pace of winter on the peninsula. Along with winterizing, raking leaves, and clearance sales, it is a time to reflect on the past six months.

Ask anyone who works in Door County about the 2015 tourism season and they’ll tell you it may be one for the record books. The weather was great, the road construction minimal, and to top it off we saw the best group of visitors to the county!

Door County is beautiful, but it is the people that make it a great place to visit and live. This 2015 season has underscored that belief with near record numbers of guests to the county. The Waterbury Inn would like to thank all of our amazing guests that have stayed with us this year! It’s always a delight to see “old friends” and a joy to make new ones! The connections we make with all of you is what motivates us!

Needless to say, our staff at the Waterbury is the key to making a successful season happen! The Waterbury Inn gives a huge Thank You to all of our wonderful staff! We couldn’t do it without you! Your efficiency, friendliness, and comradery helped give our guests the best possible service and experience!

The businesses of Door County also deserve a big thank you! By working together, we make our communities the “Must-See” destinations of Wisconsin!

Thank You to all that make Door County a premiere vacation destination! The guests, the workers, and the businesses are second to none!  We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
